Every Member is a BELIEVER.

Every Believer is a GIVER.

Every Leader is a TITHER.

Why Do We Give?

Giving at Mount Moriah is not tied to salvation or compulsion but out of a sincere desire to honor God.  We believe that by working together we can improve the human condition and a beloved community. As we study the life of Jesus of Nazareth, it is clear that he had more to say about money than nearly any other subject. Our use of money is an indicator of our love relationship with God. Through scripture, we know that God is the creator and owner of all things. We are responsible for managing that which has been entrusted to us.

What Do Give?

We give ourselves including our time, talent, and treasure to the work of the Church. give the first fruits of our increase back to Mount to evangelize, disciple, and minister to others. By giving, we acknowledge that God has given us everything we possess. “On the first day of the week, each of you is to set something aside and save to the extent that he prospers, so that no collections will need to be made when I come” (1 Corinthians 16:2 HCSB).
